Warehouse

Warehouse Doors

Door packages specified around how a warehouse actually runs — external dispatch shutters, internal high speed partitions and pedestrian interfaces, sized to your racking layout and forklift traffic.

Overview

Engineered for industrial environments

A warehouse rarely needs one type of door. External dispatch openings need security, wind resistance and weather sealing; internal openings between ambient and chilled zones need speed and thermal separation; goods-in openings need to survive daily forklift contact without becoming a maintenance liability.

We survey the building as a system — traffic counts, vehicle profiles, temperature zones, fire compartment lines — and specify the right door type at each opening rather than repeating one product across the site. That usually means insulated shutters or sectional doors externally, high speed rapid doors internally, and impact-tolerant guides wherever forklifts operate.

Every opening is installed to EN 13241-1 with safety edges, photocells and documented commissioning, and can be brought onto a single planned maintenance contract so one engineer covers the whole building on each visit.

FAQ

Common questions from specifiers

Preparing a tender or a maintenance schedule? Our team publishes clear answers so you can specify with confidence.

What door should go between ambient and chilled warehouse zones?+

A high speed rapid roll door with an insulated or double-skin curtain. Cycle time matters more than the U-value of the curtain itself — the less time the opening spends open, the less cold air you lose.

How do we stop forklifts destroying our door guides?+

Bollards or steel guard rails at the guide legs plus a breakaway bottom rail. Where impact is frequent we specify anti-crash high speed doors that self-reset after a hit rather than needing a call-out.

Can you phase a full warehouse door replacement without closing?+

Yes. We work opening by opening, usually overnight or at weekends, keeping the building secure between visits so dispatch and goods-in are never both down.
