Industrial Doors

Industrial doors supplied, installed, repaired and serviced across Ireland — roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, high speed doors and loading bay equipment.

Overview

Engineered for industrial environments

Rayco Group specifies and installs the full range of industrial doors used in Irish factories, warehouses, distribution centres and agricultural buildings. Choosing the right door type is a specification decision driven by opening size, cycle count, insulation requirement and available headroom.

Roller shutters suit wide openings and tight headroom. Sectional overhead doors suit insulated loading bays. High speed doors suit internal traffic separation where cycle counts are high. Where a bay is loaded by HGV, the door forms part of a wider package with a dock leveller and shelter.

Every powered door we install is commissioned to EN 13241-1 with safety edges, photocells and documented handover, and can be placed on a planned maintenance schedule afterwards.

FAQ

Common questions from specifiers

Preparing a tender or a maintenance schedule? Our team publishes clear answers so you can specify with confidence.

What is the difference between an industrial door and a commercial door?+

The terms overlap. Industrial doors are specified for factories, warehouses and agricultural buildings where openings are large and cycles high. Commercial doors cover trade counters, retail units and car parks, where appearance and security often matter more than throughput.

Which industrial door type should I choose?+

Roller shutters for wide openings and limited headroom, insulated sectional doors for temperature-controlled loading bays, and high speed doors for internal traffic where the door cycles constantly. We survey the opening and recommend against the actual traffic profile.

Do you work on doors installed by another company?+

Yes. We repair and service industrial doors from any manufacturer, including legacy and discontinued systems.
