Loading Bay Equipment
Complete loading bay packages — hydraulic dock levellers, dock shelters, buffers, wheel guides and vehicle restraint systems — designed, installed and commissioned as one integrated system for distribution and manufacturing sites across Ireland.
Engineered for industrial environments
A modern loading bay is a system, not a single product. Doors, levellers, shelters, buffers and controls all have to work together — a mis-specified shelter alone can waste hundreds of kilowatt-hours a week in a temperature-controlled facility, and a leveller with the wrong lip type will slow every reversing HGV by 30–60 seconds.
We design, supply and install complete loading bay packages combining insulated sectional doors, hydraulic dock levellers (6t, 9t and 12t), inflatable and cushion dock shelters, rubber buffers, wheel guides and traffic-light control — commissioned together, warrantied together, and serviced under a single PPM contract.
Whether you're fitting out a new distribution centre, retrofitting a food or pharma plant, or refurbishing a tired existing bay, we specify each element to your vehicle profile (rigid, artic, refrigerated, tail-lift) and turnover, and integrate the safety interlocks that keep drivers, warehouse staff and product safe.
All work is delivered by directly-employed engineers with EN 1398 certified levellers, Safe Pass documentation, and a full commissioning pack for your H&S and insurance files.

Common questions from specifiers
Preparing a tender or a maintenance schedule? Our team publishes clear answers so you can specify with confidence.
Can you retrofit dock equipment to an existing bay?+
Yes — we routinely retrofit levellers, shelters and restraints into existing docks with minimal downtime, phasing work overnight or across weekends to keep dispatch running.
Do you provide the full loading bay under one contract?+
Yes. Single-point responsibility for door, leveller, shelter and control systems means faster commissioning, one warranty, one PPM contract and one number to call when something goes wrong.
Which leveller lip should we specify — hinged or telescopic?+
Hinged 400mm lips suit fixed-height rigid vehicles and are the most cost-effective. Telescopic 500 or 1000mm lips extend into the trailer, allowing loading of tail-lift and drop-well trailers without the forklift stepping onto the vehicle floor edge — safer and faster for mixed fleets.
How do you specify a bay for temperature-controlled loading?+
We combine an insulated 80mm sectional door, an inflatable head-and-side seal shelter, and a leveller with under-lip and under-side insulation — sealing the trailer against the building envelope to eliminate cold air ingress during loading. Payback in energy alone is typically 12–24 months.
Do you install vehicle restraint systems?+
Yes — wheel chock alarms and Rear-of-Vehicle Hook (RVR) restraints are increasingly specified as standard by insurers and health & safety consultants to prevent trailer creep and premature departure during loading.
